Kyle joined Intrynsyc in 2015 and became CEO in 2016. His career in the financial sector has focused on originating, structuring and financing growth capital for small capitalization companies. As CEO of Intrynsyc, Kyle has financed and advised companies in various industries, with a particular focus on the innovation sector. Prior to joining Intrynsyc, Kyle was Vice President of an international merchant bank and was the founder and CEO of a boutique advisory firm.
Jake joined Intrynsyc Capital in 2016 as a complement to his position in business development with Intrynsyc’s partner fund. He has over 5 years of investment industry experience working with institutional, corporate and retail clients in Canada and the U.S. Jake has also earned his Chartered Investment Management designation (CIM). Previously, Jake worked at two Canadian investment dealers, first as a retail investment advisor then on the institutional desk.
Connor has been in the financial industry for over 10 year playing an integral role in the financing of early stage growth companies. Prior to joining Intrynsyc in 2017, he was an investment advisor with PI Financial and prior thereto, worked in private equity. Connor has a bachelor of Business from Bond University.
Deborah Honig is a capital markets specialist with more than 10 years’ experience dealing with institutional, retail, and high net worth clients. Prior to founding Adelaide Capital Markets, she worked as an institutional equity salesperson at full-service investment banks in Toronto for 9 years. Before her career in institutional sales, Deborah was a wholesaler of hedge funds, mutual funds, flow-through funds, and other structured products to the retail advisor community.
Victor has over 10 years of compliance experience in the securities industry. Victor graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelors of Arts (Philosophy) degree. He was previously Chief Compliance Officer at a sell-side boutique brokerage firm serving institutional clients in Canada, the United States and abroad.
Gary has been involved in the mineral exploration industry for almost 20 years. Early in his career he gained extensive technical experience with “boots on the ground” knowledge of early to advanced stage projects including mapping, drilling, milling and mining experience. Until recently he worked as a sell side analyst focusing on early to advanced stage junior exploration companies. Gary graduated from the University of Victoria and also holds an MBA from Simon Fraser’s Beedie School of Business.
Mr. Johnson is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pathfinder Asset Management Ltd., a leading Canadian small-cap investor and Intrynsyc’s partner fund. He has been Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chief Operating Officer of Canfund Ventures Corporation, a private investment company and Pathfinder’s predecessor family office, since 1982. Mr. Johnson has been investing in public and private companies for over 35 years.
Mr. Eaton is Chairman of Baron Global Financial Canada Ltd., a full-service merchant bank providing ongoing financial and back-office support to public companies. Mr. Eaton has over 25 years experience in public markets and a strong track record of creating successful companies and shareholder value. Over his career, Mr. Eaton has started many public companies, managing the process from creating the structure, organizing the listing and financing, and post listing management and support.
Mr. Smyrniotis is an entrepreneur, consultant, investor, and technology advisor responsible for guidance on market activities and insights into the high-growth technology sector. Mr. Smyrniotis has over 25 years’ experience in the technology industry, having expertise in a number of areas and industries. Mr. Smyrniotis is currently a board member of Victory Square Technologies (CSE:VST), a Vancouver-based venture fund.
